Today's program focuses on recent events in Saudi Arabia and the crisis in Lebanon. Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri announced his resignation earlier this month from Riyadh, in a recorded broadcast on Saudi state TV, seen by many as an attempt by Saudi Arabia to destablize Lebanon. The Lebanes President has accused the Saudi Kingdom of hold Hariri hostage and demands his reléase. At the same time, dozens of leading business men and members of the Saudi Royal family have been rounded up and held in custody in an unprecedented "corruption sweep." Meanwhile, the Saudi-led war in Yemen becomes deadlier by the day: Saudi Arabia has imposed a blockade on the ravaged country, preventing the delivery of humanitarian aid on which some 17 million Yemenís depend.
