Justin Coe talks to Madrid singer-songwriter Lara Rosales, who has just released her debut album, "I'm Here"--thirteen songs by Lara (two with music by guitarist and album co-produer Julio García) written and sung in English. Lara talks about her music and influences (especially American singer and guitarist Eva Cassidy) and we hear four songs from the album, two in their recorded versions and two performed live by Lara, accompanied by Julio. Other musicians performing on the new album are Rubén Rebolleda on Hammond B3 and accordion, Martín Bruhn on drums, and Marisa Tolentino and album co-producer Carmen Ros, background vocals. Lara Rosales is presenting "I'm Here" this Friday, November 23rd, at the Casa de Cultura Giral Laporta in the town of Valdemorillo, some 30 miles west of the Spanish capital.
