In this week's edition of Other Voices, Alison Hughes talks with Professor Victoria Sanford, foresenic anthropologist and human rights activist who was in Madrid to testify as an expert witness in the Spanish National Court case, headed by Judge Santiago Pedraz, on the Guatemala Genocide. She also discusses the trial currently underway in Guatemala of some of the perpetrators, including former dictator Efraín Ríos Montt. Guatemala's Civil War, which lasted nearly four decades, ended with peace accords signed in 1996 (23/08/12).
