    tur02 VAN (TURQUÍA) 23/10/2011.- Un hombre sostiene a una menor herida tras un terremoto de 6,6 grados en la escala de Richter, que sacudió la provincia turca de Van, fronteriza con Irán, hoy, domingo 23 de octubre de 2011. Aunque aún no hay datos oficiales de víctimas, los medios locales informan de que se ha desplomado al menos un edifico de siete plantas bajo cuyos escombros hay atrapadas varias personas. En unas declaraciones a la cadena NTV, el alcalde del distrito de Ercis, Zülfikar Arapoglu, aseguró que hay "muchos muertos y heridos", y pidió ayuda urgente.
