Villains Helping Villains.

-Since before time began, Odd Squad...

-Eugh!

-...has been stopping villains from causing oddness.

-But stopping villains stops now, thanks to...

Me! Marty Marmalade.

-And... Me.

Jamie Jam.

And also thanks to this informational video called:

Villains! Helping! Villains!

-All throughout this video...

-Which we'll send to all villains using this USB stick!

-We will show you lots of cool special effects, like this!

-And this.

-And this!

We will also give you five tips on how to stop Odd Squad...

From stopping you.

-I know what you're thinking. Why should you listen to us?

Because between Marty and me, we've been caught

by Odd Squad, one... -Two...

-It's one. -One million times!

-So yeah. We know what we're talking about.

-Let's start with this.

-Tip number one.

Do not talk to Odd Squad. Listen.

I get how much fun it is to brag about how much smarter

you are than Odd Squad, and how they'll never catch you.

I've even done it myself. Take a look.

-The town museum has been covered in jam.

Jamie Jam is back in town.

-That's right!

I'm running up and down Oak Street, jamming things up.

And you're not smart enough to catch me.

Hahahahha!

Great speech, right? Wrong.

I told Odd Squad what I was going to do, and where I was going

to do it!

Which made it so much easier for them to catch me!

But my biggest mistake was that I followed a pattern.

-Hey, Jamie.

-Oh! Hi Marty.

-What's a pattern? -A pattern is something that repeats.

It could be colours, or shapes, or even numbers.

Let's see if you can figure out this pattern.

-Oh.

-First I jammed house two, then I jammed house four, and then,

house six.

-Hm. Well, two plus two is four.

And four plus two is six.

It's a plus two pattern!

-I thought you'd like this one!

Can you figure out which house I jammed next?

-Six is the last number. So if we add two, it's seven, eight...

So, house eight! -Exactly!

Which is exactly the problem!

If you follow a pattern, Odd Squad can predict where you're going

to go next, making it easier for them to catch you!

-That's why a villain should be as random as possible when

causing oddness!

One idea is to throw a pair of dice.

-Or you could flip a coin!

-Or you could talk to a llama with your mind.

Hey, llama, if you were to be random, which house should

we jam next?

-I think you should cause oddness on house number three million.

-Thanks llama!

-It seems that Odd Squad is around every corner.

Even the corners in the sky. Do skies have corners?

Anyway, look what happened the last time I tried

to marmalade something.

-Drop the marmalade, Marty Marmalade.

-Odd Squad? -That's right!

We can fly now.

And as soon as we get down, you're busted.

-How exactly do we do that?

-Don't know. Maybe we say, "land".

-Whoooa!

Try and look cool. -Ugh, busted!

Why did I get busted?

I'd already marmaladed two houses that day.

I was exhausted!

And that brings us to villain tip number two!

Do not cause oddness every day.

I know, I know, you wanna cause oddness all the time,

but trust me.

Take some days off, and you'll be able to cause more oddness,

better. For example, easel!

There are seven days in a week.

Do some oddness Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

But, take the weekend days off. That's Saturday and Sunday.

-Hey Marty! -Oh, hey Jamie.

-Sometimes I like to take the whole month off, just to recharge

the 'ole jam hands. Pew!

Pew! Pew!

-Pew!

-Sure, you can do that, but watch out, because not all months

have the same number of days.

-Um, could we tell the villains which months have which number

of days? I think that'd be really helpful.

-Yes we can.

There are twelve months in the year.

January, March, May,

July, August, October and December have

thirty one days.

-And April, June, September and November only have

thirty days.

-And February only has twenty eight.

-Unless it's a leap year. -Thanks, llama.

-Every four years, February gets an extra day, so instead of twenty

eight days, there's twenty nine. -An extra day for oddness?

I love leap years!

-But what should a villain do when they're not causing oddness?

-I'm glad you asked. Hit it!

When you're not causing oddness, what do you do?

Here are some things to try. -But you don't have to!

-You can always use your own ideas.-One idea would be baking.

-Or learn the xylophone. -Sometimes I like to paint.

-That's nice! It doesn't have to be productive

-Just read a magazine.

-Puzzles are fun as well! When you're not causing oddness.

what do you do? Here are some things to try.

But you don't have to! You can always use your own ideas

Villain tip number three. Come on!

Careful what you name yourself.

There's lots of fun villains with lots of fun names!

There's Noisemaker, Fladam, Lady chair...

-Sit down.

-But sometimes, your name can make it easier for Odd Squad

to catch you! Take a look.

-Looks like the work of Symmetric Al.

Al's the most symmetrical person in the world.

One side of his body looks just like the other side.

-He takes half of anything that's symmetrical?

-Symmetric Al, wants to be

the only symmetrical thing in the universe!

-If his name wasn't Symmetric Al, maybe Odd Squad wouldn't ever

figure out that he did it! -Hey Jamie.-Ooh, hi.

Marty, hi.

-I just realized that our names are also our things.

Jamie Jam... -Me.

-Marty Marmalade. -You!

-So, maybe we should change them.

-What would we change our names to be?

-Llama.

-Oh yeah!

-Villain tip number four!

Keep track of your oddness. -That's right, Llama.

When I jam somebody, I like to write it down.

-I know, because we took all that information, or data,

and put it into this bar graph.

-The bottom axis, or horizontal line, show which type

of jam I used.

And the axis on the other side, or the vertical line,

shows how many times I used it.

-Putting data in this graph makes it easier to understand!

The higher the bar, the bigger the number!

-Exactly! So.

This month, using my fav, grape jam, I jammed ten people.

-And using apricot jam, you jammed five people!

-And using strawberry jam, I only jammed two people.

-Two? Hahaha, what's the matter?

You couldn't find any more people to jam?

-I can always make the number go higher!

-That was grape.

-Here with the final villain tip to stop Odd Squad, yuck,

from stopping you, it's Marty Marmalade.

-First of all, my name is Llama now.

And second, I thought you were going to do the last tip.

-No, I'm eating jam now, 'cause you said you were.

-No I did not. -Yes you did too!

-No I did not! -Yes!

-No!

-Yes!

-No!

This is embarrassing.

We're supposed to have five villain tips and we only

have four.

-If Odd Squad were making a video, this never would've happened.

-You're right. We need to be more like Odd Squad.

-What? -Just hear me out, Llama.

I like Odd Squad even less than you...

-Not possible.

-But there's some things they do very well, like teamwork.

How they're always helping and supporting each other.

-How they never give up...

-Even when they fail, they use that failure to become stronger

and better.

-In order to defeat Odd Squad, we need to think like Odd Squad!

-Yes! -This seems especially evil.

Let's do it. Hahahaha!

-Villain tip number five.

-Be like Odd Squad! Hahahaha!

-So there you have it, villains.

-We'll make a copy of this video, so you can stop Odd Squad from

stopping you. Hahahaha!

-I have to admit, any villain watching that video would

be a lot harder to catch.

Good thing they only made one copy.

What do you think, agent? Can you destroy this for me?

-Not a problem.
