Nicolas Jackson visits the 9th edition of Hay Festival Segovia, Spain's annual literary festival featuring debates, conversations, concerts and exhibitions held in Romanesque churches, palaces, convents and gardens around this World Heritage Site. There he talks to Baron Patten of Barnes, Chancellor of the University of Oxford and head of the Vatican's communications and media team. Chris Patten was formerly Chairman of the UK's Conservative Party and a British Government minister, a European Union Commissioner, the last governor of Hong Kong, and Chair of the BBC Trust.
