Óscar Esplá's 'Sonata del Sur'

In a recent program we heard the "Aitana Symphony" by Spanish composer Óscar Esplá (1886-1976). Today we'll hear another of Esplá's major works, the "Sonata del Sur" (sonata of the south) Op. 52 for piano and orchestra, as performed by the Orquesta Nacional de España conducted by Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos and accompanying pianist Eduardo del Pueyo.
