Violinist Judith Mateo

 Justin Coe welcomes to our studios Judith Mateo, a classically-trained Spanish violinist who has just released her fifth album, "Celebration Days," (Warner Music) made up of versions of classic rock hits like "Sympathy for the Devil" (The Rollings Stones) and "Highway to Hell" (AC/DC).  Judith has travelled the world performing music and given benefit concerts in Western Sahara and other areas of conflict.  Judith has lived in Ireland, where she immersed herself in Celtic music, and she explains to her host the meaning of her first album's title, "Tír na nÓg" (released in 2003 on Universal Music).  For more, visit Judith's website at:  www.judithmateo.com (08/10/14).
