Entre 1973 y 1979 Charles Mingus grabó siete discos para Atlantic. Se acaban de publicar todos juntos en una caja titulada 'Changes the complete seventies Atlantic studio recordings' con obras como 'Three or four shades of blues', 'Nobody knows', 'Goodbye pork pie hat', 'Devil woman', 'Wednesday night prayer' o 'Something like a bird part 1'.
