CHARACTERS:

Victoria Márquez (Adriana Ugarte)

Victoria is a provincial young lady raised in the bosom of a wealthy bourgeois family. Orphaned at a very young age, she has developed an independent and determined personality that makes her a woman ahead of her time. Circumstances and her strong character will lead her to take charge of the family business, something unusual at the time.

Victoria is the vertex of a love triangle whose male elements are Angel and the perfidious Gonzalo de Castro.

Ángel (Rodolfo Sancho)

Orphaned by his father at a very young age and of humble origins, Ángel has inherited his father's commitment to the workers' struggle. However, the difficulties of the times, more evident among the less fortunate and the influence of his believing mother, lead him to be ordained a priest. Angel lives a complicated love story with Victoria.

Gonzalo López, Marquis of Castro (Roberto Enríquez)

Gonzalo is a man surrounded by mystery. Of humble origins, he is willing to achieve at any cost what has been denied to him by blood and lineage. In the beginning of the series we see him become a Marquis thanks to his marriage to Irene de Castro, a woman of weak physical and mental health, with many problems to have children. Gonzalo is ambitious and a business lynchpin who will end up becoming a partner of Victoria's father, a circumstance that will lead him to be the third in discord in her love story with Angel.
