In the 2013 edition of the Iris Prizes, which are awarded by the Academy of Television, it took the Award for the Best Thematic Channel, just as it did the previous year.

15 Years of News

The first broadcast by Canal 24 Horas took place at 2 p.m. on 15th September, 1997. The channel was created with a commitment to provide the public with independent, quality news.
