EL PRADO, A PASSION FOR PAINTING
Documentary - 52' - Culture
El Prado as it has never been seen before. 'The Passion of the Prado' shows 400 paintings, all masterpieces, of the more than 9,000 that the Prado Museum treasures in Madrid.
Shot in 4K, the ultra high-definition television system, the images in the documentary offer a sharpness and color similar to what the human eye can perceive. Art as it has never been seen before.
'The Passion for Painting' offers the viewer the possibility of approaching what is a magical visit through the rooms of the main Spanish art gallery. The documentary shows a journey through the most important schools of painting and their most representative painters. From Dürer to Botticelli, from Bosch to Murillo, including Titian and El Greco. And of course Goya and Velázquez. An experience where we realize that it is not about seeing, it is about looking, to be enveloped by the magic of a space in which every room, every corner, could be an altar of art.
This is 'El Prado, The Passion for Painting', a documentary that will be enjoyed by all those who are passionate about beauty, because here art is painted in capital letters.
