Acacias 38 premieres in Italy

The Spanish drama, which arrives in Italy under the name of 'Una vita,' will air Monday through Friday at 2:45 pm

On Monday, 22 June, 'Acacias 38,' the series produced by TVE and Boomerang TV for the public broadcaster’s daily afternoon slot, will debut in Italy. Canale 5, Mediaset Italia’s main channel will broadcast the fictional series Monday through Friday at 2:45 pm.

In Italy, the series will take the title 'Una vita' and thus join the long list of Spanish dramas that have been broadcast in the country. Among them, the TVE and Boomerang TV production, 'Los misterios de Laura,' which is currently been adapting for the Italian market.

'Acacias 38,' which premiered on TVE last April, depicts the entangled lives of four bourgeois families and their servants in a stately building located in a large city in the late nineteenth century. The series tells the story of Manuela, a young woman fleeing from her past, who engages viewers in the universe of Acacias Street. Sheyla Fariña, Roger Berruezo, Sara Miquel, David Muro, Iago Garcia, and Jaime Olías are some of the members of an ensemble cast of over 20 characters.

Susana López Rubio, Aurora Guerra, Miquel Peidró, and Josep Cister created the original idea for this warm, bright and romantic fictional series in which the main protagonists are the universal sentiments of love, jealousy, passion, vengeance, and hatred.

In recent weeks, 'Acacias 38' has been ranked as TVE’s best afternoon option.
