2.4 million tourists have come to the Canary Islands with 'low cost' airlines
In the first half of the year international flights with low cost airlines have increased by 12.2%. 4 million passengers are sticking with more traditional airlines.

From January to June 2016 6.4 million international passengers have passed through Canary Islands airports, 13% more than the same period in 2015. Of these, 2.4 million chose to travel by low cost airlines, fa 12% increase. However, the majority, 4 million, still prefer traditional companies.
