77.6% of hotel vacancies were occupied in June
The Canary Islands was the Spanish region with the second largest amount of occupancy in June. The south of Tenerife, that of Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura were the areas where occupancy was the highest.
The Canary Islands continue to achieve good tourism statistics. In the month of June, 77.6% of available hotel vacancies were occupied, making the islands the region with the second largest amount of occupancy, surpassed only by the Balearic Islands. Furthermore, during this month 5.5 million overnight stays were recorded, a 7.5% increase on June 2015.
