A passionate police thriller that combines the disappearance of the daughter of an important businessman from Malaga with the irruption of a new and dangerous drug called 'Gold'. This series immerses you in a whirlwind of mystery and suspense as two cops, haunted by their own dark pasts, embark on an investigation that will challenge the boundaries of the law and take them into the heart of a conflict between rival gangs.
Set against the backdrop of Malaga, the plot unfolds through the eyes of Dario, a cop with a lot of street smarts and questionable connections, and Blanca, an elite agent who returns to her hometown after years in Madrid. Together, the duo must navigate dangers, confront betrayals and unravel a web of intrigue to solve the case and preserve the fragile balance between the criminal forces at play.
'Malaka' will immerse you in an involving visual experience, full of unexpected twists and complex characters. Will Dario and Blanca be able to overcome their differences to solve the case, or will they succumb to the shadows that threaten to devour them?
CHARACTERS:
Blanca Gámez (Maggie Civantos), an elite inspector, correct, intelligent, calm and direct. Nobody in Malaga knows why she has decided to return to her hometown after making her entire career in Madrid.
Darío Arjona (Salva Reina), "Someone has to get dirty so that everything stays clean". A police inspector who is always skirting the border of corruption and trying to keep the drug market under control.
Joaquín Romero 'Quino' (Vicente Romero) joins Blanca and Darío in their investigations into Noelia's disappearance. The ex-cop and now private detective turned in the badge some time ago. A shady business he prefers not to talk about.
