The first night of carnival on the island of Néboa (Galicia) kicks off a series of chilling events when the body of a teenage girl appears in O Burato do Demo, a place surrounded by myths and legends. This is no ordinary crime, as the cave has witnessed two other similar murders in 1919 and 1989, which triggered five other crimes during carnival days that were never solved.

At the heart of the dark narrative is the popular belief of the 'Urco', a wolf-headed man who emerges from the sea in chains, carrying away the living. This figure, also an iconic representation of Néboa's entroido, fuels collective terror and raises disturbing questions.

Who is behind a series of murders that has persisted for more than 100 years? For Monica and Carmela, two intrepid investigators from the Guardia Civil, the countdown has begun. Néboa' immerses you in a thrilling plot where the legends of the past intertwine with the present, defying logic and taking you on a journey full of unexpected twists and turns.

This series is an immersion into the folklore and dark history of an island that holds unimaginable secrets.

CHARACTERS:

Mónica (Emma Suárez) is a lieutenant of the Civil Guard specialized in homicides and kidnappings who travels to Néboa to catch 'Urco'. A foreigner from the island, her formula for catching criminals is to collate testimonies, analyze evidence and take advantage of their lies and contradictions, thus closing in on the criminal. She arrives accompanied by her daughter. Both are on the run: the mother, from professional problems; the daughter, from bad company.

Vega (Alba Galocha) is Monica's daughter, with whom she has a special relationship. It is Vega who takes care of Monica, or so she wants to believe. She is independent, determined and with a natural tendency to take care and protect others... most of the time, she forgets to take care of herself.

Carmela (Isabel Naveira) is the sergeant at the Néboa barracks and will form, together with Monica, a professional team prepared to catch the Urco. Their work method is to analyze, formulate hypotheses and make verifications until they obtain a result. In his past and present may be the key to solve this case of serial murders that have been going on for 100 years.

Gael (Nacho Nugo), Carmela's son, was born and raised in Néboa, where he would like to become a civil guard like his mother and grandfather and live there for the rest of his life. He is reserved, but not shy and is the best friend of the first victim, Ana.

Roi (Jorge Varandela) is the son of the most powerful family in town, the Ulloa family, and part of the group of friends of the victim, Ana. Misunderstood, rebellious, aggressive and suspicious, he is always under his father's protection.

Cascudo (David Seijo) has a turbulent appearance, makes a living by dealing and is one of the most obvious suspects, but in Néboa nothing is what it seems.

Roque (Denís Gómez) is a quiet and kind person, Carmela's husband and Gael's father. He tends to keep quiet without opposing anyone head-on, always under the mask of a smile or a joke, until one day he wonders if this is how he will be for the rest of his life.
