Nathan Trent, la apuesta de Austria, llega a Eurovisión con una canción en inglés, "Running in the air". Ha sido elegido por la cadena ORF de forma interna.

Se puede decir que es nuevo en esto de sacar sencillos al mercado, pero lo cierto es que este joven de 25 años lleva en la música toda la vida.

Nacido en Innsbruck, desde los tres años recibe clases de piano y violín. La cosa viene de familia porque su padre es violinista en la Orquesta Nacional del Teatro de Innsbruck.

Nathan Trent afirma que él creció en las tablas del escenario. No sólo porque fuera a ver a su padre trabajar. Desde que era un niño ya empezó a actuar en representaciones teatrales y en musicales. Es un artista de los pies a la cabeza. Ha recibibido formación de interpretación y danza, dominando los estilos de jazz, contemporáneo y comercial.

También es compositor, ¡con 11 años ya creó su primera canción! Ahora también produce y arregla sus propios temas.
