Eurovisión 2019 - Jurijus (Lituania): Videoclip de "Run with the lions"

Lituania vuelve a apostar por un balada romántica para Eurovisión 2019. Jurijus ha ganado por sorpresa el Eurovizijos Atranka 2019, la preselección nacional, y se ha convertido en el representante lituano con "Run with the lions".

El cantante se ha impuesto a Monika Marija, que partía como favorita, gracias a los votos del jurado y el público que le han otorgado 12 puntos cada uno, la máxima puntuación. En concurso ha sido emitido por la cadena pública LRT y han participado 48 candidaturas en total este año.

Jurijus Veklenko recoge así el testigo de la exquisita Ieva Zasimauskaite, que el año pasado nos enamoró a todos con "When we're old" en Lisboa, e intentará conseguir la primera victoria para su país en el certamen europeo con la compuesta por Ashley Hicklin, Eric Lumiere y Pele Loriano.

Ieva Zasimauskaite es una joven cantante lituana que participa en varios proyectos de la televisión pública. El tema con el que se presenta al festival de la capital portuguesa ¿When we¿re old¿ (¿Cuando seamos mayores¿) es una balada lenta interpretada con el piano.

El cantante no es desconocido para el público eurovisivo, ya que en 2013 fue vocalista de apoyo del representante lituano Andrius Pojavis ("Somethin") y en 2015 hizo los coros de "This time", de Vaid Baumila y Monika Linkyte. Ahora cumple su sueño: defender a su país en el Festival de Eurovisión.
